Today I enjoyed helping a trucker from San Antonio.  He owned a truck and was leased on to a company.  The company covers his liability while he is hauling their trailers, but is not covered while driving home (unloaded), the mechanic, car wash, etc.  Bobtail insurance will provide coverage for when the trucker is not working for the contracting company (off time).  We use Progressive Insurance to provide coverage for this situation..
